Next Generation Space Suit

Sometime this year, Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner will attempt to break Joseph Kittinger's record by free falling from 120,000 feet above Earth, breaking the speed of sound along the way. The David Clark Company and a team of experts (including Kittinger) have all worked together the past three years to develop a suit that will sustain and protect Felix during his attempt this summer. This video has a neat summary of the ongoing project.

I watched a TED talk video last year that a stunt guy named Steve Truglia was going to attempt this also.

Ouch! It jumps back and makes that weird face after being poked in the eye by a blade of grass. This is a weird cat torture video masquerading as funny... Only funny if you hate cats.
