Tapistongs: A Rug with Slippers

You'll always have a place for your slippers with this rug! The slippers fit right into spaces in the design when you're not using them, and become part of the carpet itself. The rug is called Tapistongs by French designer Lise El Sayed. It looks as if there are enough slippers for plenty of guests around the edge. Link

I always take off my shoes before going in someone's house; I don't wear them in mine and it would seem to me incredibly rude to go traipsing across someone else's clean floor wearing them.

Way cool rug...
but the thought of wearing those things after who knows who all has had their feet in them... no thanks.
@Phos- 10 yrs ago, I moved to Eastern Europe where it is customary to wear only slippers inside a house. In fact, it's generally rude not to. I always have my own slippers with me... I do like the idea of not wearing shoes in the house.
