Ohtani Ikue, is the voice actor for this cute and adorable character and is famous for her work in various Animes and dubs in Japan. In this video you'll see her on the Japanese TV show "Odoru Sanma Goten" - or in rough English translation "Dancing Sanma Palace" - being introduced and asked to reprise her role as Pikachu much to the amazement of the audience and host.
And I admit...I used to like Pokemon as a kid. And I still do love Pikachu. :)
