Good with Numbers? Try Math Popper!

Alex

This is a great game to play with your little kids: Math Popper challenges you to add, substract and multiply by "popping" the balloon with right answer.

Sure it's easy at first, but it gets harder ... and harder ... and harder ... Link [Flash game] - via Ursi's Blog

When my daughter was 4 she had a total meltdown when I tried explain daylight savings time to her. She absolutely refused to go to bed an hour earlier. Finally, I gave up trying to explain how it worked, put her to bed and changed the clocks. Next day I never said a word and all was back to 'normal'. Win-win, I guess.

Pre-internet, my husband would change half the clocks and I would change half. But we rarely coordinated which half correctly, so some clocks were never changed and some were changed twice. Now, I don't even bother because the phones and computers are set automatically. I get the other clocks fixed sometime in the next couple of days.
