Pong Table.

Moritz Waldemeyer created this pong table with embedded LED lights and touchpads to create a truly interactive gaming table.

The Pong table is a dining table made from DuPont Corian with an aluminium base. There are 2500 LEDs integrated into the table top, together with two track pads they recreate the classic Pong game. When turned off, the integrated technology disappears completely, leaving a simple, beautiful and practical dining table.

That stinks. A 'gaming' table for non-gaming yuppies. 2500 fucking LED's? That's rubbish. Not only would that not do the Arcade version justice, it would be waaay overpriced- for Pong.

Fuck that shit. Gimme Jeff Han's Perceptive Pixel multitouch computer interface anyday.

Bad design is irritating.

You would think that the time that it must have took to create it, making the legs taller, (so that the players wouldn't have to hunch over) was just too difficult. I understand it is also a dinner table, so some adjustable high chairs isn't that far fetched in order to solve both sides.
