Movies and TV shows are constantly trying to convince us the main characters are super special in some way, and the producers often use wardrobe as a way to make their stars stand out from the supporting cast.

But instead of looking super cool these ridiculously overdressed characters just come off looking like super fools, or super tools, take your pick.

I don't believe a vampire would be caught (un)dead in such a hideous jacket, and I don't believe our Friend Rachel was really a fashion expert since she can't figure out where her belt is supposed to go.

And will somebody please tell me what the hell Samantha Jones was thinking when she slipped on this utterly ridiculous looking dress with the spiky shoulder pads? Maybe she was dressing for a New York Fashion Week riot?

Most strays are just sick animals in need of care and a new home, so eighteen-year-old Hamdan Shibli didn't think twice about helping the three tiny kittens he found on the side of the road while walking to work.

And I can't blame him, look at how cute those little fluffballs are!

Hamdan saw they were wild cats so he scooped up the little kittens and put them in a bush, hoping their mom would return and take care of them.

But soon after posting a pic of them online he realized those kittens were special- because they were jungle cats, which are native to Asia but number about 600 living in the wild in Hamdan's home country of Israel.

Their mother never returned, and the kittens were covered in ticks and in bad shape, so Hamdan put them in a basket and took them to a wild animal hospital for treatment.

Sadly one of the three kittens died in the hospital, which isn't that surprising considering the abandoned kittens were only five weeks old and in bad shape, but the other two are now tick free, on the mend and eating solid foods.

And hopefully they'll be able to return to the wild when they're well enough to take care of themselves, so they can grow up to look as majestic and beautiful as the adult jungle cat in this photo.

Bedbug infestations are a living nightmare, and those little bloodsuckers love to hitch a ride on people so they can spread the infestation all over town, or in the case of international travelers spread it across the globe.

Scientists have focused on learning how bedbugs are attracted to humans and how they get around apartment blocks in an effort to stop them from spreading.

But William Hentley from the University of Sheffield thinks their focus should change to the dirty laundry we bring back with us from our trip:

“Stopping people from bringing bed bugs home can be a big step in preventing them spreading throughout the world.”

Scientists already know that human odor attracts bed bugs, though not which chemicals in the odor specifically. But for the newest study, researchers prepared a mock bedroom with laundry bags containing clean and dirty clothes—in other words, there were no humans in the room. The critters were “twice as likely to aggregate on bags containing soiled clothes compared to bags containing clean clothes,” according to the paper published today in the journal Scientific Reports. Contrary to the researchers’ hypothesis, the amount of carbon dioxide in the room did not affect their results—the CO2 source would represent a human, since some bugs like mosquitos are specifically attracted to the carbon dioxide you exhale.

These results were enough to convince the researchers that bed bugs could travel throughout the world by hitching a ride in luggage containing dirty clothes.

the authors “demonstrate a striking pattern that bags containing clothes with human odor were more frequently used as refuges than those without. This result emphases the importance of making sure luggage and other belongings are made as inaccessible to bed bugs as possible when staying in increased risk places, for example by making sure bags are fully closed and secured and kept away from the bed.” Hentley agreed with this advice.

If you have to come up with some elaborate plan that costs you lots of time and money just to get the person you love to agree to marry you then they're probably just not that in to you- or you didn't spend enough money.

Dogs make great companions, great security guards and great pets, and their greatness has definitely gone to their head- because dogs rightfully feel like they're better than any other household pets, except cats, of course.

A short while later the dog actually got over his superiority complex and accepted a hamster's love in his heart, and now the two are "friends".

The Nightmare Before Empire by Mr.Jungle

Jack was never a fan of movies because he didn't have a TV set in his pumpkin patch, nor did he have electricity to run the set since Dr. Finkelstein's contraptions suck up all the juice in town. But once he was able to spend some time in the human world he was finally exposed to the glory of television- and he was instantly hooked. Of particular interest were those scary space horror movies where the stars are engaged in an intergalactic war with some poor helmeted hero named Vader and his wrinkly old dad. The heroes were so rotten in those space operas that Jack did not like them at all, but dressing like Darth became a Halloween tradition from that day forward, as the Sith Lord became one of Jack's personal heroes!
