Man, the dragons in the video game Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim sure are colorful these days! With the recent invasion of a Macho Man Randy Savage dragon, and now these scaly beasts that look suspiciously like characters from My Little Pony, I don’t know whether to shoot the buggers down, or open my arms wide and wait for a big old hug!

Reddit user biophilia curiosis of Operation Wallacea spotted this specimen in Buton, Indonesia.

While participating in a herpetology study we stumbled across this female laying eggs in a nest. She was found in the Lambsuango Forest reserve and was immediately released after this photograph was taken.

Here‘s what they look like when they’re not guarding vast amounts of treasure, or raining fire down on castles.  The species may be related to Draco volans.

deviantArt user ~toge-nyc created this dragon out of plastic forks, spoons, and knives held together with glue. It took him about 80 hours complete the project. If you check out his page, you can also see some pretty cool pen-and-ink drawings.

The Lucky Dragon is a work by Japanese artist Yanobe Kenji. It is a water and fire-shooting articulated steel dragon head with glowing eyes mounted on a 15-meter long cruise boat. The video above is of the boat in action at Aqua Metropolis festival in Osaka. It’s scheduled to make similar demonstrations in Osaka’s waterways until October 12.
