A pity that a charity, of all places, allows their animals to get so incredibly fat. :/

I live near this facility and have witnessed the good work they do, not only with animals that unfortunately need to be rescued, but with the foster kids they take in that benefit from a nurturing environment where they are taught to care for and love these animals, and receive much needed love at the same time. This is a rescued lion, as are the tiger and bear, so it is very possible that they were in improperly cared for before being rescued by Noah’s Ark.

I’m sure they do fantastic work, but that lion.. wow. The bear and tiger didn’t look bad, but the lion….. just.. wow. Poor thing needs some proper exercise, food, something.

Oh come on now…you go and link to The Chive for photos of these animals? A photo dump site like THE CHIVE, who simply slaps a watermark on them so people think they own them??????

Please Neatorama, get your facts straight, some of the photos are from a Flickr set, others are by Getty Images and the rest are certainly not from The Chive. I hate sites that steal photos like that and don’t give credits to the original source

I agree with Spooky323. We rarely point to blogs that steal photos, and I propose that we end linking to The Chive and similar image thievin’ sites.

Don’t blame the lion. They keep tossing these foster kids into the enclosure; what lion could resist that?

Don’t be too hard on JohnnyCat, Spooky. Sometimes it’s hard to tell that a post is plagiarized and track down the original. I’m sure that it was unintentional.

QFT. Since I started guest blogging here I’ve learned so much, but I sometimes make JAFO mistakes like that. It won’t happen again!
