Fun With Webcams

This is a music video for “Hibi no Neiro” (Tone of everyday) by Sour. The people in it are fans of the band, and the whole thing was shot on webcams all over the world. At first, you think that using fans and webcams would be the cheap and easy way to produce a video, but then you see the result and realize how challenging this must have been to coordinate and edit. -via Metafilter

    The video was VERY well-done…and you’re right about the time investment to pull all the elements together and edit it. The song, however, is practically a joke. Don’t get me wrong…the band has every right to perform novelty songs if they want…but jeez. I can’t believe the state of music today.

    That was pretty awesome! Reminds me a bit of that mashup of several YouTube singers and songs to make a coherent new music video.
