I well remember the horror that was Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. I had nightmares for weeks afterward. Ha! This trailer illustrates again how important a film’s soundtrack is. -via Viral Video Chart

I'd find it scarier if the background music wasn't used constantly in Britain's Got Talent... now all I can think of is terrible interpretations of the Star Wars theme and dancing ferrets.
The best one so far has been the scary Mary Poppins.
Also works the other way: The Shining as a romantic comedy (which I think was posted on here before?)

That music makes me uneasy every time I hear it. In the US, that music has no other use than, "ass to ass."

...This needs to be sent to either Matthew Broderick or the guy who played Cameron. What's his name again?
    Louis Gossett Jr.?

If anyone wants to know, the music is the Requiem for a Tower movements by the Corner Stone Cues (There was a little lapping in there) and yes, they are so overused. I love Corner Stone Cues and I can't stand how much this music is used.

Great idea but way too long. A trailer should never be more than 2 1/2 minutes.

I agree with Danarchy ~ too long and the story isn't very clear. I think they should have done some tighter editing and it would have been a lot better.

That music can make anything profound.

That Alan Ruck guy (Cameron) kind of looks like McLovin. I wonder if they're related?

Too long? Nah, I enjoyed every second of it! Wish there was a hi-res version of it though, tiny YouTubes make me sad.
