I well remember the horror that was Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. I had nightmares for weeks afterward. Ha! This trailer illustrates again how important a film’s soundtrack is. -via Viral Video Chart
I'd find it scarier if the background music wasn't used constantly in Britain's Got Talent... now all I can think of is terrible interpretations of the Star Wars theme and dancing ferrets. The best one so far has been the scary Mary Poppins. Also works the other way: The Shining as a romantic comedy (which I think was posted on here before?)
If anyone wants to know, the music is the Requiem for a Tower movements by the Corner Stone Cues (There was a little lapping in there) and yes, they are so overused. I love Corner Stone Cues and I can't stand how much this music is used.
I agree with Danarchy ~ too long and the story isn't very clear. I think they should have done some tighter editing and it would have been a lot better.
