It’s usually easy to figure out the city with the biggest number of people in any US state. The second-most populous city doesn’t get as much press about that fact. I got 60%. I picked the 3rd most populous for some (and some were close). I’m Canadian, though, so it’s a bit more tricky.

Speaking of which, that would make a devilishly difficult quiz: Which city in a given province is the second most populous? Even most Canadians would probably fail that one!

Remember that Chicago used to be called “The Second City” because it was second place in a few key metrics.
