Jennifer Bain paintings

Jennifer Bain paints pretty and atmospheric paintings inspired by nature. The vertical (mostly) strips in her paintings are individually exquisitely composed, but arranged next to one another they combine and amount to narratives or perhaps snapshots of nature in the abstract or in the mind’s eye. She seems to be a master of color as her color schemes are harmonious and subtle, yet vivid.

Meh…ok, not brilliant. I wouldn’t say “exquisitely composed”.

Pretty. Just like a high-end wallpaper from the 1920s or 1930s.
