note: i thought he said "backwater" too - but it's definitely "bat guano". which makes perfect sense, what with all the bats flying around. yet another reason not to be screwing around down there. no sympathy - just laughs for this loud-mouthed dork. he was annoying even before he got bit.

WHERE is the wound? I sat through him saying I've Got A Really Bad Bite some seven hundred and eighty one times to see flesh and tendon hanging off of bone only to be denied, much the way that Toronto Maple Leafs denied the Ottawa Senators oh those many times in the late 90's and early 00's.
Bah.
Now, I've seen some pythons in the past (though mostly just my vast biceps) and that one didn't look terribly large. Still, I was bitten by a garter snake one right in the soft, fleshy bit between the thumb and the rest of the hand and I'm pretty certain I cried like a 4 year old girl. Which I was not.
I can assure you a person in this line of business does NOT live a pampered life, sure they are compensated well; but spending nine months a year doing this is not something you could do Nora...Idiot

I have seen video of this man catching a Cobra because it was after the same crock eggs in a cave he was going after. That's survival at it's best. Know what you are talking about. Everyone's a critic.

I don't care if Brady boy has 10 PhDs, anyone who goes into a cave, in bat guano filled water and grops around with his bare hand try to "find the head" got exactly what he deserved. The snake was just minding it's own business and the idiot provoked it.
I doubt seriously from these made for TV antics that Brady buy was doing any serious scientific research on how snakes survive in harsh environments.

I've been bitten by a python twice that size (which is, far from being a badge of honor, really a negative mark on my record as a snake keeper and a reminder that one careless moment of stupidity while feeding a giant snake can be disastrous), but I didn't scream like a baby, as this douchelord Barr did. I sat on the snake so it couldn't constrict me with all of its force, waited patiently for 5 minutes for the snake to figure out I was not worth the effort and let go, then wrapped my hand in a couple of bath towels to soak up the blood and calmly took myself to the hospital. Of course, I wasn't being paid to act like damned fool.
Barr is the douchiest of douches, taking credit he doesn't deserve, bossing the "help" around like slaves, hamming it up for the cameras while needlessly harrassing animals. He belongs in a circus where such buffoon behavior is expected. Steve Irwin finally got what he asked for. I'm looking forward to the day "Dr." Barr gets his just reward. He's stupid AND he treats animals like playthings, so it's only a matter of time.
