According to this hilarious Lady Gaga paper doll the pop star has been moonlighting as Voltron, Defender of the Universe! The meat dress, the spaghetti wig, it's no wonder she's such a fashion icon-she wears all the food that models aren't allowed to eat.
Don't worry, these pots won't bite, and once you plant something in them the chatter will stop, I promise. These creepy ceramic creations are the product of Ronit Baranga's sick imagination, and their realistic look is enough to keep all but the bravest souls from reaching in. These would make great Halloween candy bowls, especially if you made the little ones dig around for their treat!
Office cubicle warfare just got a whole lot cooler. This LEGO replica of a Lancer Rifle, the type carried by the characters in the very popular Gears Of War video game franchise, is so well designed that it functions as a rubber band gun, and has a clip so you can fire in burst mode. Good thing the chainsaw doesn't work, or else someone would lose more than an eye!
Gavin Worth sure knows how to bend a line, and design, and construct beautiful works of art. It's amazing how he uses a thin strand of wire to portray the human form so elegantly, and yet faithfully retains the integrity of the original sketch.
Head over to his website at the link below to see more works of all kind by Gavin, or hit the Colossal link for a small gallery of wire works.
At first glance, these sponge sculptures by Etienne Gros might make you blush, screaming things like "Not Safe For Work!" or "Kids, Look Away!" But they're sponges, people, not naked bodies, so don't start posting angry comments just yet. And if you don't think the naked body is a work of art, how about these naked sponges?
The board game Risk has been around since 1957, so it's not surprising that it's had some face lifts over the years to bring in new players and appeal to younger audiences. But are Metal Gear Solid fans going to put down the controller and clear off the dining room table for a good, old-fashioned game of Risk?
Mark Twain was a ramblin' man, and was so intent on living life to the fullest that he was brought back from the dead and lived another hundred years, according to Michael Kupperman, who selflessly agreed to illustrate Twain's autobiography so that folks who can 't read all the words can stare at the pretty pictures. The daily commute got a lot more interesting recently when life sized lightsaber hand rails that actually light up were installed in Tokyo trains to promote the Star Wars: The Complete Saga DVD release.
If they'd been installed in trains in America's major cities, they would have been summarily ripped off and sold on craigslist Ebay, so I doubt we'll see a promotion as cool as this in the U.S. any time soon. Head over to the link to see what Japanese commuters thought of this bold promotional gimmick.
Have you ever wanted to look like Michael Jackson but can't afford all that expensive plastic surgery? No? Well, me neither, but Arturo Castro's "real time face-swapping technology" looks pretty cool, except for the horrifying MJ mode.
His subject matter may be a bit strange, as he draws everything from ALF to Italian soccer players, but Denis Medri's illustrative style is full of energy, and his playful use of color and construction lines add a hand rendered warmth to the drawings that really bring the characters to life. Follow the link to his DeviantArt page and you can see more illustrations from an artist with some serious range.

Who knew that breathing new life into the survival horror genre meant bringing utterly bizarre elements, including a morbidly obese chicken faced demon, into the mix and acting like they should still be scary?
The developers at Konami appear to have dropped one too many doses while making the upcoming game NeverDead, and the amount of crossover hybrid elements make the game that much stranger. What is this, Final Fantasy In Wonderland after the Zombie Apocalypse?
These paintings by Laura Bifano depict animals as a bunch of squares, but this ain't your grandma's Cubism. This is 8-bit Cubist artworks for the video game generation, with cubic animals that look like they've leaped off the tv screen and into their "natural" habitats, and are having trouble fitting in with the classical art world.
There are plenty more cool paintings at the artist's site below, take a gander and you'll see a whole wide world of cubic critters trying to act natural.
