We take cleanliness for granted in this modern age, and consider personal hygiene to be an integral part of civilized society, but the definition of acceptable cleanliness levels vary by culture and country.

Even though we can’t agree on the average number of times people should bathe in a week we can all agree that going without a bath for sixty years will make you one stinky human being! 

Amou Haji doesn't adhere to societal norms in any way- he's over 80 years old (7 years older than the average Iranian lifespan), he smokes animal feces and drinks water out of a rusty oil tin, his favorite food is rotten porcupine, and he hasn't taken a bath in over 60 years because he believes bathing will make him sick.

Maybe Amou is on to something with his Bizarro health regimen? Nah, it's probably just the luck of the draw...

The Hulk is one of the most far-fetched superheroes in terms of believability, because a billionaire might be able to afford a suit of power armor but no amount of gamma rays will turn an average scientist into an eight-foot-tall wall of muscles.

Brazilian bodybuilder Romario Dos Santos Alves is one of the Hulk’s biggest fans, but his love for Marvel’s mega-sized superhero nearly cost him his arms.

Romario began injecting synthol (a mixture of oil and alcohol) into his arms to make them swell to titanic proportions, and these injections began to calcify his muscles, causing the muscle tissue to turn into "rocks".

Doctors thought they might have to amputate his arms due to the hardening of the muscles, but they were able to remove some of the "rocks" from Romario's arms, teaching Romario a hard lesson about trying to inject his way to Hulkiness.

Considering Space Ghost's original run from 1966-67 consisted of only 20 episodes, and less than 90 minutes of animation, Space Ghost should hold his cowled head up high and celebrate the success he had as a talk show host.

Space Ghost: Coast To Coast made it possible for Adult Swim to blossom into the animation juggernaut it is today, and even though he's now a big man on Williams Street campus series creator Mike Lazzo started the show with a budget of zero.

So how was the first episode made? With a tape-to-tape VHS editing system and a Radio Shack mic, the episode consisting of clips from a Denzel Washington interview on CNN and old Space Ghost clips. The show has such a high quality look that you can hardly tell!

Vehicles have played a major role in Mad Max folklore from the very beginning, and the sheer variety of vehicle types and apocalyptic modifications make the vehicles feel like they're another character in the story.

The latest installment, Mad Max: Fury Road, is continuing the tradition of giving these amazing apocalyptic vehicles center stage, and there are more vehicles in the new film than all other Mad Max films combined.

In fact, Fury Road features over 150 real life vehicles driven by real life stunt drivers, all of which were dreamed up by production designer Colin Gibson and constructed by Kennedy Miller Mitchell.

Here’s a look at ten of the more notable vehicles from the film, courtesy of Car And Driver. They'll make car mod fans go ooh, fans of the apocalyptic genre go aaah, and any critters that live around Fury Road go eek!

The first Mortal Kombat arcade game debuted in arcades back in 1992, when those who are considered senior citizens nowadays were full grown adults.

That means many of them don’t get the appeal of video games, much less a video game where you finish your opponent by ripping their spine out or tearing their still beating heart from their chest.

The latest entry in the series Mortal Kombat X features the goriest and most depraved fatalities yet, so what will elders who already don’t get the appeal of gaming think about this stepped up level of violence?

Hoarding disorder makes it hard, if not impossible, for hoarders to throw anything away, and their lives quickly become one big, cluttered mess.

Hoarders are often abandoned by their families, because people can no longer bear to live in a home piled floor to ceiling with garbage, and kids whose parents are hoarders experience an entirely different kind of homelife.

Photographer Geoff Johnson and his sister grew up in a hoarder's house, so he decided to share their unique childhood experiences with the uncluttered world through a series of photographs entitled "Behind The Door".

The images are voyeuristic, unsettling and yet insightful, giving us a rare glimpse of how a child might cope with life among the rubbish piles.
