We used to be able to ride free in these fifty states of ours, but lawmakers and law enforcement officers were tired of seeing skulls splattered across the highway so they've instituted a mandatory helmet law in many states.

Now our heads have to stay all cooped up while we ride our motorcycles, but that doesn't mean we have to hide our heads when we ride.

An artist with a head for digital design named Jyo John Mullor has created some creepy concept art for a line of motorcycle helmets that simulate the look of a wearer's head...on the outside.

If these helmets are ever actually produced they're definitely going to turn heads, and may cause a few embarrassing moments for cops when they realize the biker they pulled over is actually wearing a helmet!

Butcher Billy is a Brazilian artist with a talent for mashing up famous figures from the world of pop culture, from comic book characters to cartoon superstars to famous musicians.

Billy's boldly derivative works are irreverent, silly and soft edged yet oh so hip, so it's only natural that his artistic journey into parody paradise has led him to the works of Banksy.

Butcher Billy has collected some clever cartoon parody art between the covers of a coloring book called Butcher Billy Bullies Banksy, and boy did that street art ever need a cartoon makeover!

Here's hoping this coloring book will actually be released in stores someday, but for now we can only dream of coloring between those mighty appealing cartoon contour lines...

Sometimes real life can be even more terrifying than the movies, and real life is generally devoid of happy endings.

A family from Westfield, New Jersey was forced to move out of their new million dollar home when they began receiving dark and disturbing messages from someone calling themselves “The Watcher”.

This mysterious messager began leaving threatening, and very specific, notes for the family that ultimately forced them to move out and pursue a law suit against the previous owners, citing they must have had some knowledge of "The Watcher":

After moving in to the spacious new home, the couple say they received a letter in May of 2014 from The Watcher informing them that the home “has been the subject of my family for decades,” and that “I have be (sic) put in charge of watching and waiting for its second coming.”

The Watcher claims that his father and grandfather before him watched the house, and that “It is now my time . . . you don’t want to make 657 Boulevard unhappy.”

The couple claims the previous owners knew about the disturbing letters and withheld the information.

“I asked the Woods (the previous owners) to bring me young blood,” the letter menaced. “Have they found what is in the walls yet?  In time they will.”

“Who has the bedrooms facing the street?  I’ll know as soon as you move in . . . then I can plan better,” the chilling letter reads. “I am pleased to know your names now and the name of the young blood you have brought me.”

When the first Jurassic Park film premiered in 1993 audiences were blown away by the megasaurus-sized action taking place on the screen, but nobody got into the first flick quite like the kiddos.

90s kids had their tiny worlds rocked by the dinosaur based destruction they saw on the big screen, and for most, Jurassic Park became a fond memory from their childhood.

However, some kids didn't see the movie as mere spectators, they saw it through the eyes of budding filmmakers and found themselves inspired.

Two young moviemakers named Michael Raisch and David Chakris decided to create their own "remake" of Jurassic Park using their toys, hand drawn sets and a VHS camera. From Michael's website:

In the summer of 1993 inspired by the release of Jurassic Park, Michael and David set out to recreate the excitement and visuals of the hit film. Over a period 6 months in New Jersey they filmed multiple versions of the film until they were pleased with their final version. Equipped with the best VHS era technology, [Michael and David] re-created the movie magic of Jurassic Park with hand drawn sets, action figures and fishing line.

It's incredible what David and Michael were able to accomplish with so little, and Michael has gone on to a successful career in graphic design and video that all began with this Jurassic Park short.

Cats are beloved by both sexes, and yet they’ve become the subject of a cultural misconception that states women are more inclined to own cats than men.

However, everyone knows this is false, and many of the most famous and most macho men in history have had a pet cat they loved like a member of the family.

Brooklyn-based artist Sam Kalda has created some wonderful portraits of famous men hanging out with their cats and collected them all in an MFA book project appropriately entitled Men and Cats: An Illustrated History.

The book is Sam's way of showing that men like cats and cats get along just fine with men, and we don't have to be crazy to be a self described "cat-fancier", we just have to be crazy about cats!
