Last Minute Halloween Costume Ideas For Gamers

Halloween is nearly upon us folks, so here are some last minute costume ideas for video game fanatics who also have a sense of humor.

They range from the ridiculous (dressing like video game company founders and game developers) to equally ridiculous without needing an explanation (Ninja Golf, Minecraft Person, Knight) to those which will elicit the question "what video game is your costume from?" (Bowler, Banjo Hillbilly, Wall Street Kid).

Now you can actually wear a costume of sorts to your friend's Halloween party!

A little owl running around the park hooting and howling with laughter gave people something to smile about on Halloween in 2009.

He's only two years old, and he doesn't like to wear masks or constricting costumes, so his mom made him this crafty little getup so he could get out there and stretch his wings!

Isn't this cute little owl costume a hoot?!

Strange Halloween Traditions- Emma Crawford Coffin Races

Folks who live in Manitou Springs, Colorado have a strange way of celebrating Halloween each year- they dress up and race decorated coffins down the street.

The Emma Crawford Coffin Races are a yearly tradition which is named after a woman whose coffin-ated body washed down Red Mountain during a flood.

Now the townspeople celebrate her memory by dressing up, some in clothing inspired by the late Ms. Crawford, parading their fancy coffins down the street then teams race their "Emma" down the 195-yard track for a trophy, bragging rights, and a $50 gift certificate for the local shops.

Sounds like a fun way to spend the afterlife!

There's something different about Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas, and I can't quite put my finger on it...

Oh wait! That's what it is! She looks exactly like Lindsay Lohan in this pic!

I guess that's why she decided to dress up like the troubled star for Halloween this year. Maybe once the band breaks up she should consider a career as a Lindsay Lohan impersonator.
