But Iron Press Man's story was rife with irony, since his equipment was only really useful for steaming and pressing clothes and thus would never allow him to become the superhero he always wanted to be. However, to the butlers at Stark tower, and all the other appliances he calls friends, IPM is already a superhero, because he fights for the good of laundry everywhere!

The states of America are more divided now than they've been in a really long time, and people have been representing their state and talking trash about other states on social media since the election.

But these generalizations, misconceptions and stereotypes about the states (and the people who live in each state) are nothing new, as you can see on this Nicknames of the States map from 1884.

This colorful map was created by the livestock supply company H.W. Hill & Co. as a promotional item, hence the pigs representing each state, and some of the nicknames on the map are not very pleasant.

Something tells me H.W. Hill didn't do much business in states like "puke" (Missouri) or "corn cracker", a less than affectionate nickname for Kentucky that was later shortened to "cracker".

Believe it or not wars actually come to an end every once in a while, and when they do the forces at war are left holding a whole bunch of surplus weapons and gear they no longer need.

That's where the artists and craftspeople of the world come in and give the tools of death a new life by turning them into functional items or poignant works of art for people to enjoy.

Artist and furniture designer Rainier Weber was reading a book about Michail Kalashnikov when he was inspired to make functional pieces of furniture out of AK-47 assault rifles.

The guns were "formally still in service" before the Austrian artist gold plated them all and welded them together to form the frame of the chair and torchère.

All this militaristic luxury can be yours for a mere $127k. Eh, it's pretty, but it doesn't blow me away...

The Justice League, the Avengers, X-Men, Defenders and Teen Titans are all superhero groups who hog the spotlight, but there are lots of inexperienced, incidental and downright motley crews out there who need love too!

Spidey and Sandman on the same team? Amazing but yes, Spider-Man teamed up with five of his former enemies to become the Outlaws, a team formed by Silver Sable to pose as criminals and take down the Maggia crime syndicate.

The Outlaws formed out of necessity, but the group pictured below was formed just to make the rich even richer and to stroke Booster Gold's ego.

They were known as the Conglomerate, a corporate-sponsored team created to give the Justice League International a run for their money, which Booster had left because he felt he was treated as a joke.

But the joke was on Booster after all, because the Conglomerate's sponsors just wanted to exploit superheroes for profit, so Booster had to go slinking back to the JLI after all.

And in case you thought I forgot about the team at the top of the post here they are- the Inferior Five!

The Inferior Five began as a parody group, the inept offspring of the mighty Freedom Brigade, but readers liked them so much the 5 got their own title, which ran for a mere twelve issues.

But here's the fun part about the Inferior Five- they have to fight crime as a team because they're too inept to do any good on their own!

People do a lot of hot tubbing in Iceland, and there are many spas and hot springs all over the country where tourists and locals can meet up and take a dip.

We all know how smart primates are, and how they have learned to use certain tools both with a little help from humans and on their own, but knowing about their craftiness cannot compare to seeing it in action.

So here's a video showing an orangutan from Southeast Asia using a handsaw to cut a branch in two, using her feet to hold the branch steady and clearing the sawdust from the cut as she works.

Blarney Castle in Cork, Ireland has sadly become known for one thing- the Blarney Stone, which people from all over the world come to kiss in order to attain the gift of gab.

But the Blarney Stone is just a block of limestone built into the castle's battlements, and the castle itself has such a rich history, and the most beautiful grounds and gardens, that it'd be a shame not to take it all in.

The Blarney Stone legend began around 1314, when King Cormac McCarthy was given the stone by King Robert the Bruce of Scotland for helping him win the Battle of Bannockburn.

A witch who lived in a nearby Druid rock garden told Cormac the stone had magical properties, and that kissing the stone would give him the gift of eloquence.

According to another legend, Queen Elizabeth I tried to take the castle, but each time her troops showed up to storm the castle Dermot McCarthy, a descendant of Cormac, talked them out of attacking.

Elizabeth referred to the failed siege as "blarney" so the name stuck, and by the 1700s "blarney" was an official entry in the Oxford English Dictionary, meaning "talk which aims to charm, flatter or persuade."

Perhaps there's some truth to the Blarney Stone myth after all...
