Well before we could instantly send any old thought we have via text message (and instantly regret what we wrote) those crazy love letter lines had to be written out by hand and mailed.

This process should have given us plenty of time to change our minds about writing anything too crazy, but as Napoleon's love letters to Josephine prove the lovesick have never wasted time with logical thought:

“Your tears rob me of reason, and inflame my blood. Believe me it is not in my power to have a single thought which is not of thee, or a wish I could not reveal to thee.”

But the flames of passion often flicker in the breeze, so when he receives no response Napoleon the nutty in love starts worrying like someone who sends a text but doesn't get an immediate response:

“Without his Josephine, without the assurance of her love, what is left him upon earth? What can he do?”

Things go from bad to worse for Napoleon the jealous lover and Josephine, and in the wake of their break up he starts to send the equivalent of a drunk text as he wallows in misery:

"The veil is torn…It is sad when one and the same heart is torn by such conflicting feelings for one person… I need to be alone. I am tired of grandeur; all my feelings have dried up. I no longer care about my glory. At twenty-nine I have exhausted everything."

Many humans think of capybaras as nothing more than overgrown rodents or some sort of rat-pig hybrid, but apparently all the other animals in the world see capybaras as cuddly companions.

They all want to snuggle up on the lazy rodents and inhale their mellow vibe like second hand smoke, losing all fear and all track of time while they lapse into a capy-induced coma.

Capybara cool is so potent, in fact, that it can even make a predator meathead chill enough to hang out with, now that's some mighty mojo!

The Kool-Aid Man is not the sort of pop culture character kids normally look up to, but apparently one crazy construction worker has idolized the giant pitcher of sugary soda since he was young.

In fact, he may have gotten into the construction industry so he would have the opportunity to bust  through a wall just like his sloshy idol, only it appears he's traded in the Kool-Aid for Fireball whiskey.

Stupid stunt videos are always cautionary tales, but those involved in the making of the video usually receive minor wounds at most.

But every once in a while someone does something so extraordinarily stupid there's absolutely no way they're walking away from the stunt with all of their body parts in place.

I'd say shooting a lawnmower full of explosives with an assault rifle qualifies as one of the stupidest stunts ever pulled, and 32-year-old Georgia resident David Pressley is lucky he only lost a leg during the shoot.

Note to future tapers of stupid stunts- when you're shooting at a vehicle full of explosives take a tip from cartoons and don't move any closer when your shots fail to ignite the payload!
