Amazing DIY Christmas Decorations Made From Pasta

Making Christmas decorations out of pasta sounds like child's play, but you'd be surprised what some people can do with a bag full of uncooked pasta, some ribbon, some glue and some paint.

And even though most of our readers won't be making pasta decorations for their friends and family this Christmas I thought the crafters among you might get inspired by seeing how good pasta decorations can look.

Here's the list of DIY pasta projects created in this video by Crafty Panda:

1. Flower Christmas decoration made by glueing conchiglie rigate pasta pieces together and covering everything with silver paint.

2. Christmas wreath made of farfalle pasta ribbons glued together on a cardboard and covered in green and red paint.

3. Snowflake ornament from penne rigate pasta stuck together with some glue and covered in silver paint and glitter sparkles.

4. Little racing car toys for your Christmas tree from penne rigate, fusilli, ruote, radiatori and ditali lisci pastas.

5. Miniature Christmas tree toy constructed by glueing ruote and ditali lisci pasta together.

6. Shining hollow Christmas ornament star made from gold coloured ditali lisci pasta joined together with glue.

7. Bright red Christmas star decoration made from conchiglie rigate pasta glued on cardboard.

It's The Joker Versus Negan In This Episode Of Super Power Beatdown

Negan is currently the bad guy to beat in the world of pop culture thanks to the popularity of AMC's The Walking Dead, but even with all his cruel, vindictive and brutal tendencies Negan's a nice guy compared to The Joker. So should Joker face off with Negan there's no question the Joker would win hands down.

And yet Negan is stronger than Mister J, and he has his beloved bat Lucille, which he wields like a magic club of sorts, so maybe he could hold his own against the Joker?

Eh, why bother arguing about it when you can watch this episode of Super Power Beat Down by Batinthesun and take their word for it! (Fight starts around 4:45, NSFW language)

Daily Comics From Branson Reese, The Internet's Weirdest Cartoonist

Drawing a daily comic can be a real challenge, and even cartoonists who've been drawing dailies for years say they have a hard time coming up with new material day in and day out.

So when comedian and cartoonist Branson Reese declared he'd draw a comic a day for a full year many people thought he was full of Reese's Pieces, but Branson proved them all wrong by delivering 365 deranged daily strips, after which he took a week off like God:

Today was one year of making one comic a day. I did it. And I learned nothing from it. No lesson. I grew up hot and so I never learned how to extrapolate morals from situations.

If I had to give a piece of advice to any young artists just starting out it would be this: if you steal from me I’ll sue you into the ground

The fact that Branson's comics are so bizarre probably made it a bit easier to come up with material, since he seems to have a never ending supply of strange scenarios floating around in his head, but drawing a strip a day without fail is still quite a feat!

Man Captures The Moment A Shark Bites His Wife On Video

Shark attacks are a pretty rare occurrence, and a shark attack caught on video is even rarer, but that's just what Sarah and Evan Carroll received as a wedding present from the denizens of the deep.

Sarah and Evan were honeymooning in the Caribbean when they decided to go scuba diving, and for some reason Sarah's arms looked appetizing to a nearby nurse shark- so it rushed in and took a bite:

According to PEOPLE, Evan happened to be filming at the time and Sarah later shared video and pictures of her injury.

"I felt a strong whoosh of water, something clamp down on my arm and assumed my husband was playing a prank on me," Sarah, 25, told the magazine. "Less than a second later I realized how much it hurt and looked … to see the shark latched onto my arm."

The New York Daily News reports it was a 5-foot nurse shark that bit Sarah. Sarah accompanied pictures of the bite with the Facebook caption "Ended the honeymoon with a bang (bite)."

Quinn Brewing Company - Now Serving The Psycho Life On Tap

Quinn Brewing Company by OneBluebird Art

When Harley saw that her gal pal Ivy had begun serving up bottles of potent spirits she wanted to get in on the racket too, especially because she saw it as something she could do without Mister J mucking it all up. She teamed up with Ivy and started distilling her own version of the Green Fairy, a potent herbal blend that made whoever drank it grin with delight, but too few people bought her Absinthe to stay in business. So the ever quick Miss Quinn started brewing beer that contained trace amounts of a psychedelic mushroom, which drove the drunks mad in Gotham and put The Psycho Life beer on the map.

Add some dark and geeky flavor to your wardrobe with this Quinn Brewing Company t-shirt by OneBluebird Art, which features a tasteful and elegant design that will blow your fellow Batfans' minds!

Lyrics Added To The Star Wars Cantina Song

in my opinion the Cantina song played by Max Rebo's Band in the original Star Wars is perfect just the way it is, but the geeky folks behind The Warp Zone felt the song needed lyrics to be perfect.

So they came up with ridiculous lyrics about alien happy hours and the Cantina's criminal clientele, but it seems the writers are either droid activists or married to robotic entites- because they're angry about how droids are treated.

If Harry Potter Characters Were More Realistic

Harry Potter is a story written for children so J.K. Rowling didn't spend too much time making realistic characters, plus it's a fantasy series so realism can detract from the magic and wonder of it all.

But let's face it- if Harry Potter had actually survived the killing curse as a baby he would be one jacked up looking kid!

Serverus Snape was a slippery character with a dark past, and even though he turned out to be a double agent in the end all the bad stuff he did while working for Voldemort would look pretty bad on his resume.

And wizards may have figured out how to remove the horrible effects inbreeding has on their children, but in real life whenever people talk about their "pure bloodline" we start imagining what their mutant kids look like. (Comic by Andy Kluthe and Andrew Bridgman)

These Beautiful Siberian Cats Have Taken Over Their Humans' Farm

Cats love farms because they have lots of food (and rodents) for them to snack on, and farmers love cats because they help keep the farm rodent free.

But having too many cats on your farm seems like a bad idea, what with all of those plump chickens strutting around.

So how do Russian farmer Alla Lebedeva and her husband Sergey raise those big and beautiful Siberian cats and keep her farm animals from becoming a feline buffet?

Alla says the Siberian cats actually protect her animals from rodents:

"How many do we have now? To such a question I usually answer 'a million, maybe more,'" Lebedeva tells DesignYouTrust. "They live in the henhouse... They have three ‘little bedrooms’ there where can they sleep according to how they feel. Our cats protect the chickens and rabbits from rats and mice."

By the look of them there must be quite a few rats raiding her farm- because these cats look like they have a healthy appetite for fresh meat.

These little lions are often mistaken for Norwegian Forest cats, but Alla wants everyone to know that her Siberian cats are a different species, which she and her husband have been raising for over a decade on the farm they call "Catland":

Events Correctly Predicted By The Simpsons

Matt Groening and the writers on The Simpsons have made some incredibly bold predictions over the years- and way too many of them have actually come true.

Does this mean these visionary animators possess psychic powers, or is modern life just becoming so ridiculous it has more in common with cartoons than the real world we once knew?

We could debate that question for years to come, but Disney's recent acquisition of 21st Century Fox proves The Simpsons is without a doubt the most prescient show on television.

They predicted Trump's presidency, they knew Siegfried and Roy's tigers would one day turn on them, and they even predicted that Bengt Holmstrom of MIT would win the Nobel Prize for Economics.

What's The Difference Between A $5,000 Watch And One That Costs $85,000?

It never ceases to amaze me how much people will spend on jewelry and accessories designed to do little more than impress others with a display of wealth, but at least expensive watches tell time while looking fancy.

Now a fifty dollar watch always worked fine for me, but men who demand an elegant timepiece on their wrist will spend thousands on a Rolex, TAG HEUER or an Omega, like the $5,000 Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch.

And if that seems like a crazy amount of money to spend on a watch imagine spending $85k on a Patek Philippe 5170P, with diamonds on the dial and a platinum case!

So what's the difference between a $5k Omega and an $85k Patek Philippe? Watch this video by Watchfinder & Co. and find out!

Some Of The Most Dangerous Toys Ever Sold

These days most toys go through rigorous safety testing before being released, and yet a few defective playthings still manage to slip through and make it into stores before they're summarily recalled.

But back in the day defective and dangerous toys were coming out left and right, and yet kids still somehow managed to survive the days of lawn darts, Slip N' Slide and Moon shoes.

(YouTube Link)

This countdown video by TheWacky doesn't include lawn darts, but it does include classic toys like Creepy Crawlers and the almighty Slip N' Slide that brought back great memories.

Oh, and when I was 10 I used a chemistry set I got for Christmas to make some kind of caustic and smoky substance that I used to get rid of a nest full of wasps in our tool shed. Good times!

Hilariously Honest Ski Trail Signs

Many people will be hitting the slopes this winter, and some of those people will even go skiing despite the fact that snowboarding is way more fun.

But whether you like shredding powder or shushing down the runs you're bound to run in to one thing while you're at the ski resort- trail signs.

They're posted everywhere to keep skiiers safe and show them where to find each trail, but these signs usually don't contain much information about what the skiier should expect on each slope.

Which is why these honest trail signs are something every ski resort should consider implementing, so that skiiers can avoid all the child-shaped hazards and hit the slope that best fits their personality.
