Visual media makes pranking people with laxatives look like fun, but eating too many laxatives can lead to serious health problems including kidney failure, low potassium levels and severe dehydration.
A bonehead named BG learned this lesson the hard way when he decided to participate in some stupid online laxative-eating competition- but instead of eating one or two laxative-filled brownie he ate 25 in an hour.
Each brownie contained the recommended adult dose of 2 laxative tablets, so needless to say BG was stuck in the bathroom, but it's the other effects of a laxative overdose which he'll never forget:
This foolish move sparked a trail of events starting with massive dehydration and low potassium. It led to rhabdomyolysis and acute kidney injury. If left in this condition without aid, “your body, down to its bones, will rot away and eventually you'll die in a pool of your own waste that should have been in your urine," Chubbyemu explains. Nice.
When DC Comics announced they were releasing a bunch of DC/Looney Tunes Specials I was excited to see what they would do with these beloved characters.
Then they released titles like Jonah Hex/Yosemite Sam, Lobo/Road Runner and Martian Manhunter/Marvin the Martian which proved to be both crazier and cooler than expected when the concept was fleshed out with artwork and grim storylines.
But none of the DC/Looney Tunes crossover titles are as delightfully dark, or as bats#$t crazy, as the Batman/Elmer Fudd special, where we find Fudd giving up his hunt for wabbits to take down the Bat.
Comic artist extraordinaire Neal Adams liked the crossover comic so much he created this super fun audioplay as "An homage to my new favorite comic book", so we can actually hear the Fudd hit the fan.
Kids shows aren't known for their attention to detail, nor do they normally care about continuity errors or plot holes, and even though they've gotten better over the years show creators were terrible about these things in the 1980s.
So many 80s kids shows left giant plot holes unexplained that we can discuss all the disconnects until the cows come home, and speaking of cows- was Barth's Burgery on You Can't Do That On Television actually serving beef?
Whatever Barth was serving up made the kids sick on a weekly basis, so you'd think they would have stopped eating there, but I guess they were sick of slime.
And speaking of sick- Gargamel chased the Smurfs because he wanted to eat them, and even though it was never fully explained it seems like Smurfs must be pretty tasty if Gargamel was willing to go to so great lengths for a Smurf Sandwich.
80s Kids looking for a regular meal could pay a visit to Punky's Place, where a teenage Punky Brewster fulfilled her dream of running a restaurant and sold sammiches and such instead of going to school.
So why would a kids show let their main character play hooky? Because any show that features a dog wedding as their final episode clearly had no idea what kind of message they were trying to send to kids!
Muscle cars are the sexiest and most badass cars to ever rule the road, and even though they often have hybrid guts these days classic models like the Mustang, Camaro and Firebird are still released with classic muscle car-inspired bodies.
But there will never make a new muscle car that can compare to the mighty curves on the 1969 Chevrolet COPO Camaro:

The Dodge Charger Daytona also came out in '69 and is equally sexy in its own way, but the Daytona has not one but six NASCAR wins under its belt:

But as badass as those two muscle machines are I'd rather drive the Boss- the 1969/70 Ford Mustang Boss 429 that is:
The Boss 429 Mustang is a high performance variant of the Ford Mustang that came out in in 1969 and 1970. Also known as the “Boss 9”, it is arguably one of the rarest and most valued muscle cars to date. Wrong number texts have taken over where the wrong number phone calls left off after we all started carrying smartphones around, and the texts are raising the bar with the addition of photos and increased anonymity.
Now you don't even have to talk to creep someone out, you can just send them a photo like this!
Generally speaking the process is the same- you get a wrong number text, you write back "wrong number bro" and they write back something like "sorry about that".
But every once in a while the person texting you is so persistent they refuse to believe they have the wrong number until you give them some physical proof.
The Nintendo Game Boy revolutionized portable gaming in three major ways- it allowed gamers to take multiple games with them on cartridges, it let them use their headphones and it offered multiplayer options via the Game Link port.
These were amazing features in a handheld gaming device in 1989, and even though the black and white graphics were somewhat dull games like Tetris and Dr. Mario were fun and addictive.
But kids today grow up with smart devices that have touchscreens, HD graphics and online connectivity so to them the Game Boy must seem like an ancient relic, one which they can't figure out how to play.
Proud papa Chris Cohoon shot these videos of his daughter puzzling over the Game Boy's antiquated features, such as buttons and a screen that doesn't respond to touch, but after a while she figures out how to play.
It isn't easy to visualize what the elements on the Periodic Table represent in our daily lives, and ask most people which household items have Boron, Cadmium or Indium in them and they'll just shrug their shoulders.
Boeing software engineer and graphic designer Keith Enevoldsen created this Periodic Table Of Elements, In Pictures And Words so we can easily connect the dots between the elements and stuff we use every day.
I would not be surprised if Keith's illustrated Periodic Table replaces the standard Periodic Table in the classroom, because it lets you see that Boron is in tennis rackets, Cadmium is in paint and Indium is in LCD displays at a glance.

You'd think a guy who spends all day jumping and punching and fighting would be fit, and considering all he eats are mushrooms and flowers you'd think he would be thin, but I guess all that powerful food goes straight to Mario's gut! But it doesn't really matter how he looks as long as he gets the job done, and Princess Peach certainly doesn't seem to mind that Mario's belly has grown to super proportions over the years. However, I still can't help but wonder- how did Mario get so fat when Luigi is still thin as a rail?!

You'd think Cthulhu's favorite holiday would be Halloween, considering he's such a creepy squid faced fellow, but surprisingly the Great Old One is partial to Christmas and he has the Santa hat to prove it. In reality the villains who make the Caped Crusader's life hell aren't pretty, and most of them are downright ugly in both body and soul, but for some reason they don't look all that bad when they're drawn as cutesy characters. Maybe it's the fact that their horrible disfigurements and scary masks somehow look adorable when they're simplified, or maybe it's just that we naturally don't see cutesy characters as a threat. But after looking at this portrait of Arkham Asylum's finest I feel sorry for the Penguin, I want to hang out with Scarecrow this Halloween and I want to add Catwoman to my pet collection...but I'm still stayin' the hell away from that stabby clown faced Joker!
