it was boring and it sucks. just because fans find themselves on the internet and think they're a lot of people doesn't mean they actually are a lot of people relative to the masses who make our break movies. i am a big Firefly fan and think Serenity is an awesome movie but recently I've seen it listed as an overrated film that isn't that interesting. and weLL to people who aren't Firefly fans that may very well be true. suffice it to say movies are often judged by the popular vote and if the majority don't like it your screwed. movies that make it into film history books can be the exception since they're being judged by insiders and not the general public

That's funny about the video store firing for doing a refund. when I worked in tower records back in the day, we would re-shrink wrap the records that got played in the store and sell them as new. This is the real reason why tower had such a liberal return policy. if a person a "new" record with scratches it was probably true and we'd replace it. no one ever got fired even if it was their first day
