Ann Miller was under age when she started making movies. Her mother and Ann lied about her age and studios put her in films by portraying her as an adult. Adult situations and breaking child labor laws, too.
She was very secretive about her age and when she died obits in papers didn't know how old she really was. I believe the media settled by saying she died at 81.

I thought the Tom Hanks movie 'Castaway' seemed pretty factual with him having to learn basic survival skills with nearly nothing to help him.
I had wondered how I might have survived since I am deathly allergic to shellfish and some fish. But if I had contemplated suicide I wouldn't have needed a rope. Squid would have been my choice for death's kiss.

IMO, they should have stopped after the first 3. Just like all of those comic books to movie films, they just keep churning these films out and frankly I am beyond bored with them all. I feel the same about the Alien movies. The first 2 were great. The third film was okay. After them, well...I really miss original movies with great writing. So many movies now just consist of swearing the same cuss words over and over.

Cutting off tidbits was a thing for quite a few centuries. Even into the 1900's it was still going on in the USA. Bonnie and Clyde were 2 examples of people cutting off bits of their clothing, hair and who knows what else.

I like how Costa portrays Robin. I would definitely watch a full length movie about Robin with this guy in the lead. Mr William's family is missing out on a wonderful way to share Robin's life with the world. It's not 'too soon'.

I still have a land line in my home. When the power goes out and/or there's no cell phone service one can always count on the landline to help you make contact with places and people when necessary.

Why not just have light without the smoke? Each note has a different color. 7 colored laser lights - do, re, mi, fa, so, la and ti -that shoot upward from the notes played. By playing more than one note the colors would rise and (if not combined unless they get angled into the other colors) create a visual display of colors in the air above the piano keys. No smoke needed. Just lovely columns of light. Just a thought...

I never could convince myself to buy those condiments. They just looked sooo wrong.
