When my kids were in elementary school, (son - 1/2 day kindergarten, daughter - 2nd grade) I had my own business. I made customized costumes for people, parade floats, car shows, Halloween contests, you name it. It wasn't unusual to have strangers walking around the house as giant bluebirds or caterpillars w/8 movable arms.

One day my son was waiting for his big sister to come home from school. My daughter's excited and smiling like crazy because the Girl Scouts had a program for younger girls at her school and she says "Guess what, Mom? I'm gonna be a brownie!" My son says "Great, Sissy. You be a brownie and I'll be a cupcake!"

It's the actual, honest to Goddess keyboard used to engage the 'Corbomite Manuever'... (Episode: TOS 003 - Corbomite Maneuver, The. Season 1 Ep. 10. Air Date: 11/10/1966) should it ever need to be engaged. Original Star Trek Fans will understand and be afraid, very afraid...

How could you leave out "Fiend without a Face"? It was a brain and spinal cord that could crawl and jump on peoples' necks and pull out their brains and spinal cords. The brain looked like a snail with those stalky eyes... Anyone else remember that movie??

It is an antique magic fortune teller. You place your finger in one of the depressions and ask it a 'yes or no' question. The lid opens up and if the answer is 'no' it cuts off the tip of your finger. Harsh, you say? Ha! Fortune telling is NOT for the weak!

Back in the 70's I had a Maine Coon cat that weighed 30 pounds. His head was wider than a human's head and he was taller than my friend's full grown Pekinese dog. He was a great cat. I still miss him.
