Isn't it possible that some of these cats might not have been originally placed on the paper but were added later in the form of a 'doodle' by a bored reader or 2? Especially the last image in this article. The cat definitely looks like it wasn't done by the original artist.
The fact that you are aware that her behavior is disruptive AND you are trying to assuage the problem is night and day from parents who don't seem to think that high decibel screaming is disruptive to the rest of the restaurant. Good job, Dad! Keep on doing your thing. We other patrons appreciate it.
Oh, I disagree. "MOM" will never have a clue how she is programming her child to be a manipulative 'lil' darlin'. The child learns that bad behavior brings rewards. NOT in my home!
My peeve are the parents who tell their kid they are going to do something and then don't follow through. I was in a store and a kid's in a cart and the mother was pushing it around the store. The kid was screaming and crying because - who knows? - but the mother said, over and over, "If you don't stop being naughty we are going to leave." This went on for 15 minutes. The kid still carried on with it's tantrum and the mother kept repeating her line. I was one lane over and finally piped up: "Leave! Honor your promise!" Well, she didn't but she was mighty mad at me. sheesh
My daughter lied about going to her friend's house, instead went to a party, got drunk and drove her car home on 2 flat tires and we are the asshole parents because we grounded her.
I think he was named Chuck 'M' Jones? Anyway, I was a big fan of his. I always loved his attention to detail. He was the one who always insisted on realism so when the coyote is standing on the top of a cliff you see small little pebbles coming loose from around his feet and them tumbling over the side of the rock wall only to fall far below and we hear the small little tinkle of noise or a puff of smoke come up high enough for we viewers to see it. Not like the cartoons of poorer quality which became a drivel of characters running past the same backdrop for 30 seconds with no variation whatsoever. Bless his heart. He made me love his cartoons.
This is my daddy's good old direction finder. He never read a map in his life and whenever he got lost he'd whip this trusty old direction finder out and stick it out the car door window and follow the direction the arrow pointed. Did it work? Well... let's just say that one time I was 3 months late starting school... Chemists do it in an excited state Men's Large Turquoise
I had started college that September. Janis was the only 'idol' I had ever admired and felt that she put her heart and soul into every song she sang. I was devastated when I heard she had died. I stlil wonder what sort of songs she would be singing if she were alive today. RIP, Janis. You have not been forgotten.
