I bought my keyboard on Amazon. This is my 2nd keyboard (same version) because I spilled juice on the first one and it couldn't be saved. They now have a newer version - mine's 2 or 3 years old. It's called "Apple wired keyboard with numeric keypad MB110LL/B". I love mine. It's quiet when you type and it's slim and I like the feel of the keys when I type. It's a very reasonable price, IMO: $48.49 and free shipping. Perhaps you'll try one?
ummmm, because you are having problems w/your keyboard? Sorry. I guess I was thinking you were into wireless mouse/keyboard stuff now and not into buying a decent keyboard. My bad. I'll slink away now....
Oh, I must disagree with you. I only use Macs but I never use their original keyboards which are pure junk. Buy a good keyboard and you'll never have to buy another one unless you spill something sticky on it.
I believe that Star Trek continued along the same lines as The Twilight Zone. Many of the episodes dealt with social issues of the day like civil rights, prejudice, sexism, inequality, etc. The first inter-racial kiss between a white man and a black woman happened on Star Trek. Sure, some of the episodes were corny but most of them made you look at our world (and ourselves) with different eyes. The episode "Let that be your last battlefield" sticks with me where Frank Gorshin and Lou Antonio are the last 2 men from a planet at war with each other. Each man is half white and half black but their colors are opposite to each other. They finally end up killing each other because of their prejudice. Such futility. All lost for nothing. I always thought that episode was one of the most profound shows I had ever seen up until that time in my life.
My first concert was the Beatles at the Olympia Stadium in Detroit. It was an enormous venue. You couldn't hear a thing unless you covered your ears. I loved the entire experience. I do understand why the Beatles stopped doing concerts, though. No one could hear them. Anyone could have come on stage to impersonate them and no one would have known better! Looking back, the Beatles could have avoided all that mess with booking smaller venues...
Every year my husband listens to the 'Charlie Brown' musical. whatever, I dislike the 'music' and cannot abide the 'music' they keep trying to foist upon us all...
This also happened in Michigan back in 1972. A friend pumped gas at a gas station. Some guy pulls up in his car, rolls down the window and tells my friend to fill the tank. He then throws out a lit cigarette onto the ground. My friend picked it up and tossed it back into the guy's lap. The guy yells "Hey, Man! Whatta trying to do, burn me?" My friend replies: "Hey, Man! Whatta you trying to do, blow us up?"
