It says the wood is oak. I would have guessed birch. Anyway, the whole place has a temporary feel. It doesn't make it seem like it would have a homey feel to it. Especially the large open first floor. The kitchen area looks sparse and cheap to me and unfinished. It's lovely in it's way and probably costs a fortune and I've no doubt many people would love it.
I thought you were kidding about the price! sheesh For 40 bucks plus shipping I could have a gourmet cake (with frosting!) delivered to my house with no muss, no fuss. It does seem like a big rip off. At 20 bucks I'd have to think about it. At 40 bucks that's an automatic NO.
It's obvious that these artists had never seen such animals but it would make sense that if someone described an animal to an artist that they would do their best to represent something only through another person's perception. Sort of like trying to describe the color blue to a blind person, I imagine.
Oh, I really like Samoas. I seldom buy them cause my guy doesn't like coconut in anything and it would take a long time for me to eat a whole box of them. You say you've tried the new cookie. What's the caramel like? Is it gooey or sort of dried out and stiff?
He needs better challenges than these. How about a place to hide hiking boots? Or his trash can? Or all his Christmas ornaments? Or his mother in law? Just sayin' he needs better challenges than peaches and rocks. I triple dog dare you, Alex! TRIPLE. DOG. DARE. YOU.
Hey, guys! Look! It's a big industrial diamond. That could really grind down and sharpen a lot of factory tools. But anyone who spends millions on this stone is a fool. Selling diamonds full of occlusions and debris to the public by calling them chocolate diamonds, whatever, is an advertiser's dream come true. Buy a clear diamond as in an optical grade diamond which is free of debris and you'll at least get a nice sparkler for your money. That black rock needs a toast. "Here's mud in your eye." There, I fixed it.
I read those books a few years ago and the tv series is taking many liberties not written in the books. I found the books much more interesting especially the love story between Yennifer and Geralt.
I use salt in my cooking but I am not a fan of 'salted' anything. But I sure do wish those brownie cookies had a peanut butter center instead of caramel.
Well, not a cougar story but our neighborhood has 2 families that have recently spotted a bobcat roaming around our area. It certainly has lots to eat since we are right by a river which is home to about 100 Canadian geese, about 40 or so wild ducks and many deer that seem to like my front yard. I had one in my backyard when I lived in Louisiana and they are beautiful cats and thrilling to watch them walk around with their giant fluffy paws. I wish it a safe and healthy new year.
