I grew up just out side of Watkins Glen, NY (and now only live 40 miles from it). While the gorge is certainly the most widely known area there are many more places even more stunning. If you go there ask a local what falls they like to hike to.

Xbox Live Family Game night, this has five or six games you can play, handy if you do not have the board equivalent. Kinect Party is fun for everyone also.

Instead of frozen try the deli, they usually have pre-made uncooked pizza, those are much better than any frozen.

I see your point in the fallacy of the pricing data, however, even if you compared normal births in the US with other countries you would still see a much higher price. My three of my four children where born in hospitals with an average cost of $6,500, no meds, no "special" needs and a 24 hour stay. My last child we had a home birth and for the entire nine months of the pregnancy it cost us $3,500.
The best part, my insurance company does not cover home births even though I saved them 50% or more on the cost of the birth. Kind of silly...
