I am naturally a morning person. I inherited that. But I am also way more productive after the kids go to bed, so I've ended up with two work/sleep cycles every day. If I miss my nap, I'm a mess.

I honestly don't think these pets will be available to the public, unless someone wants to give a HUGE grant to the research facility. They do this to learn ways of inserting other types of genes. It's very easy to find out whether a fluorescent gene is expressed, so that's what they use to test gene-insertion techniques.
