I don't know about anyone else's point count, but I think you get a lot more points for posts than you do for comments. But you can get points for voting on posts in the upcoming queue, too!
I had never heard of that until I did this post! The Flickr photographer mentioned it at her page, with a link to a picture. They indeed look alike, except the caterpillar is spikier. I assume if you let the cake sit around long enough, it could grow spikes, too.
There's a big difference between correcting someone to help them and making fun of them. As for correcting pronunciation, I suppose it depends on your relationship to the person you're correcting. You need to correct your child or student, and close friends know whether any guidance would be welcome. I would never try to correct a stranger unless they asked me to.
To illustrate the casting change idea, I couldn't decide whether to post the Robin Hood poster or the Waterworld poster... then I realized it was the same actor being recast in both. That doesn't say much for Kevin Costner, does it?
