I forget where I read it, but there was an article that talked about influencers asking for free stuff. Some businesses counter-offered, like, buy one today, and if you send me five new customers, I'll give you a free one. Influencers won't take that deal, because they know their influence is not all that much.
According to things I've read since this was posted, Mushu does not appear in the movie. It has no singing. And it is going to be closer to the traditional Chinese tale than the Disney cartoon. I am looking forward to it! Anyone who misses those things can watch the animated film again.
My Dad let me take a radioactive rock and a Geiger counter to school once. He also let us drink coffee and sleep outside, and there weren't any seatbelts to argue about. It's a wonder we survived to adulthood.
If this adjustment were done properly, it would be SO complicated. Snow White was released in 1937. The box office take for its first run would be subject to 82 years of inflation. But it was re-released every five years or so until home video took over. The 1957 tickets would be subject to only 62 years of inflation, and the last time I saw it in a theater in 1987 (50th anniversary), my ticket price would be subject to only 32 years of inflation. Meanwhile, movies rarely get a second run in the theaters these days. Home video sales do not count toward "box office" figures, but go a long way toward ranking a movie's popularity, and making a profit.
