You are right about the International Date Line, which doesn't follow the meridian because of human reasons. The date line was moved in 1867 when the US purchased Alaska. Looking that up reminded me of a video about the Russian-Alaska border.
My Gen Z daughter tried to trip me up with Gen Alpha slang the other day, but I was able to keep up because after all, I am more online than she will ever be.
