At this point, I believe I've gone through all the stages of Twilight. I have three adolescent daughters. At first I was just glad they were enthusiastically reading anything. Then as I learned more about the story, I was concerned. But the constant Twilight talk gave us an opportunity to discuss relationships, boys, violence, literature, literary criticism, horror, romance, etc etc. By now, they seem to have outgrown the Twilight saga and have moved on to reading a variety of books for pleasure. They plan to see the new movie, but can wait until the crowds die down this time around. So I think it was a learning experience for all of us.

We do what works. I, also, pick up the phone mainly to make it stop ringing.

I've had alligator, crawfish, and frog legs, but those aren't considered weird at all. And since I don't like seafood, I don't get all that adventurous. I used to think goat meat was weird, but I've eaten it enough to think otherwise now. One man's "weird" is another man's dinner.

It's not really clear whether the deer was hit. I read three accounts of this story: one said a car hit the deer, another said it was a near miss, and one only said a traffic accident without mentioning it was car vs. deer.

I am really, really good at typos. Will fix.

When I read this, I figured he'd come out a winner no matter which he chose.

I get stuff from reddit all the time, and give credit. This I found at Nag on the Lake, and gave credit. That's what I do. What makes you think otherwise?

And why should I quit taking stuff from reddit? That's what aggregator sites are for!
