I'll probably try The Divide, The Cabin in the Woods, and World War Z. The first has a promising concept, the second is by Joss Whedon, and I'm a fan of the book behind the third.

I can understand vegetarianism and veganism. But I've never understood people who seem genuinely shocked that there are other people in the world who eat meat.

I agree with Andrew. The AD&D that I remember playing placed too high an emphasis on killing. There's a lot more to good role-playing than that.
