Breakfast Safari created this delightful fake Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor and man, do I wish it was real. They already have ice cube trays featuring Han, all you'd have to do would be use them to mass produce the chocolate candies.

This might just be one of the cutest videos ever. Like humans, chimps are born with a strong maternal instinct and when instinct and friendship are paired up like this, there's no ignoring the cuteness.

Now that I've posted up all my Comic Con costume articles here and on Rue The Day, I've finally started looking the other photo galleries. While I've seen a few good ones here and there , I really didn't feel like I missed anything major until I saw this adorable Dalek costume. If only it were possible to survey all of the convention at once.

I think the craziest road I ever drove on was the one lane, ocean-side freeway that hangs over California's cliffs on the Coast Highway 101. While that got a little intense at parts, it was nothing compared to the terrifying roads seen in this Mental Floss article.

Every now and then a new app comes out that makes me wish I owned an iPhone and right now, Comedy Central's new Head-In-A-Jar app has me really feeling that way. You can not only create a personalized head of yourself, you can make one of all of your friends and coworkers to set up your own head museum.

The New York Public Library system is declaring fine immunity to over 140,000 kids who owe more than $15 in fines as long as the kids agree to participate in their summer reading program. The amnesty, known as "Read Down Your Fines," asks the kids to log in their reading time on the library's website. For every 15 minutes they read, the library wipes out $1 of fines.
Personally, I could have worked off over $100 worth of fines over one summer when I was a kiddo, but I know most youngsters aren't as eager as I was.

Geeky-themed weddings are always fun and I have seen my share of superhero, Renaissance and Star Wars weddings around the blogosphere, I hadn't seen many Harry Potter weddings until now. Fortunately, The Mary Sue has a great round up of these adorable occasions and the photos are simply adorable.

I known a lot of you guys might not be big fans of heavy metal music, but even if you don't appreciate the genre, you should at least enjoy the scientific organization of these bands. For those that do like heavy metal, rest assured that it does have some of the most classic bands in the genre including AC/DC, Girlschool, Judas Priest and Ministry.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm a sucker for colorized antique photos and these 40 images of Wales from back in the Victorian Era are simply stunning. They really give you an idea of what life was like at that time and place.

A while ago I shared a great video from local commercial kings Rhett & Link, and now Oddee has even more hilarious local commercials, some made by professionals, like this one which was created by the delightful comedy group Big Dog Eat Child, and some are more authentically terrible.
