Victorian Era Dinosaurs Make Quite the Family

Did you know that before the dinosaurs went extinct they also had their own Victorian Era complete with awkward, uptight family portraits? Etsy seller Rachael O'Connell painted this great creation and you can get a copy of your own for your home for only $15.

Do you Want Nachos or A Burger? Why Not Both?

Slater's 50/50, home of the legendary all-bacon cheeseburger, has just released their monthly specialty burger and this one sounds particularly fantastic. It's a nacho burger topped with melted cheeses, lettuce, onion, tomato, black beans, bacon, tortilla strips, fresh salsa, and guacamole, then wrapped in a flour tortilla and deep fried and smothered in nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, and sliced jalapeños.

I think we need to schedule a Neatorama food field trip to Slater's.

The Force Is Strong With These Two

(Video Link)

Parkour videos have been a little overdone throughout the last few years, but when videos like these involve two dudes dressed like Jedis running through a scene that could be straight out of Tattooine, that makes things different. If we give them lightsabers, they might just be the first real Jedis.

Happy Birthday to Xiao Liwu

(Video Link)

The San Diego Zoo's youngest panda just turned one a few days ago. To celebrate, his keepers made him a giant ice cake built around bamboo  and covered in carrot shavings. While the cake was about two feet taller than the panda, he didn't have a hard time climbing to the top to get all of his tasty treats.

Tard Don't Care, She Hates It: The Grumpy Cat Shorts

Grumpy Cat shorts? Tard hates them, but for once, who could blame her? I wouldn't want my mouth on someone's butt crack either. If you want to make your own, you can learn how at the link, but why you would want to torture poor Grumpy's image like that, I don't know.

Because Bread Sandwiches Are So Passe

BLTs are great...with the exception of the bread part. So why not spruce up your next sandwich by switching out the boring old sourdough with a delectable seared scallop? Plus, this might be the only way you can get away with serving BLTs at a wedding or black tie affair.

Little Ayla (the Cowardly Lion on the left) was born near Halloween so to help her celebrate in style, her parents threw a Wizard of Oz party complete with a Yellow Brick Road and a full cast of characters. The results are adorable and certainly deserve a long look, if only for inspiration for your own youngster's birthday parties.

Adventure Time: Come On Grab Your Claws

Well, Jake can change into just about any shape, so that makes him a great addition to the X-Men, but I think Logan would be a little too rough on the poor old Ice King. This great creation was done by Cynthia “Thea” Rodgers for a Comics Should Be Good challenge that asked readers to suggest new comic characters for Wolverine to team up with.

That's Some Amazing Doctor Who Cosplay

If you still aren't sure why people geek out over the San Diego Comic Con, it's not just the great cosplay or the fantastic artists or any other individual element of the massive convention. It's pure magic having some of the biggest names in movies and TV come to a convention filled with some of the biggest nerds around and, occassionally even seeing those celebrities geek out as well.

For example, back in 2011, a group of cosplayers with all eleven Doctors managed to get Karen Gillan and Matt Smith to pose in their photo with them. You can read all about it over on DeviantArt user alternatecoopa's page or just enjoy the end result (the picture) here.
