Actually Waltz, I'm not criticizing the characters, I like both of them. If you see the pilot for K-9 and Company, which is a separate show, you'll see how horrible it is, which is why it never got off the ground.

Thank you everyone who corrected the Tardis initials. That was a bad mistake on my part. It now reads dimensions, not directions.

I know it's not made up, but it is exaggerated to say that he didn't want deaf people to have kids. Obviously, he was ok with deaf people having kids or else he wouldn't have had kids.

Everyone who says that he completely thought the deaf should not procreate, then why did he have kids with a deaf woman?

Justin, thanks for the note about Wikipedia. I actually read a lot of history and watch a lot of history channel, so I actually knew most of these facts before I wrote the post. Wikipedia was simply an easy place to link readers to for additional information since I can't remember where I learned everything I read or watched.

And to everyone, I actually love my county, but I think it is important to know about your country, particularly if you live in a democracy.

There are indeed plenty of negative historical facts about plenty of other countries, but it's American History Month, so those things will just have to wait.

Sorry guys, I hate pants and love my pj's. Since I usually cook in my pj's, I often find myself missing some ingredient or another and needing to run to the store to grab them. I'm not about to change clothes just to buy a gallon of milk. They're lucky I'm wearing clothes at all.

But then again, I live by the beach and pj's are better than the bikinis a lot of people shop in, so our social standards in the community are a LOT different than those of most places.

Geekiness is what makes me interested in those fields.
