I've seen those online before and always thought they used frosting, which sounds gross. Whipped cream on the other hand....now I want one, immediately.
I hate when people use geek as a synonym for techie. There are serious TV geeks that have still never touched a computer in their life. Is it that hard to write "computer geek" in their quiz title?
I had the same experience trying to visit Amsterdam. When my friends and I arrived, they searched through all of our luggage and even got the drug dogs out. We all thought, "don't Americans go to Amsterdam to GET drugs?"
As long as we're bugging readers with our personal questions, can someone tell me why I can load Mental Floss on all the computers in my house, but not my laptop? I've cleared the cookies and cache and there's no firewall block. The computer uses the same internet connection as all my other computers. It all started after they switched to their new site layout earlier this year.
I think Alex's experience comes from buying directly from farmer's markets and local growers, which is why they taste better. Anything grown and sold commercially, organic or not, will never taste as good as something from a small farmer's market because it has to be picked before it's rippened all the way so it won't go bad before it gets to the store.
