Well, obviously the TARDIS-rooks should be able to freely travel backwards and forwards in time.

It's great the kid shows initiative and all, but unless he's able to see the business for the requested price, it doesn't appear he's made any money off all this. On the other hand, free national advertising is nothing to sneeze at.

I've always been torn about this. At a personal, moral, level I have zero problems with the idea. But.. you KNOW that if it's made legal, you're gonna end up with a whole bunch more creepy fringe-LDS types marrying groups of brainwashed sixteen year old girls. Sigh. I guess I'd still vote yes.

The Phantasm horror films include: Unauthorized duplication, distribution, or exhibition may result in civil liability, criminal prosecutions, and THE WRATH OF THE TALL MAN.
Another one that amused me was the Jim Carrey flick The Mask, which has a specific credit for a "moth puppeteer". (A gag where The Mask checks his pockets for cash and comes up empty...)

Back in the frontier days here in the Pacific Northwest, the US and England were squabbling over who had legal claim to the San Juan Islands, and they almost came to blows after an American settler shot a British pig rooting in his garden. Mercifully, cooler heads prevailed and the "Pig War" ended with that one casualty.

I'm a native USAian, but I gather a common one is not realizing how BIG the country really is. That you can get in a car, drive all day, and still be in the same state.

One of Charles Addams' old New Yorker cartoons has a convict sitting in his cell, staring in surprise at a woman emerging from a hole in the floor with a pickaxe. The woman says "I hope you aren't angry Bill, but I just HAD to see you!"

I still have a "portable" computer from twenty or so years later; they'd gotten the weight down to maybe twenty pounds. At least it comes with a carrying handle.

One I'll always remember was an ending where you get flash-frozen by aliens and shipped off to be carved up by a butcher; the picture shows the hero with the words "GRADE AAA" being stamped on his forehead.

When the "Science Guy" thing took off and he got his own show, he brought along some AL folks, such as voice-man Pat Cashman.
