This sounds accurate. When I'm not at my regular job, I do graphic design on the side. And I'm definitely neurotic.

I duno, i feel like remote working, while feeding the ego, would certainly have plenty of drawbacks. Many people have a hard time getting motivated into exercise, for example. If you work somewhere, versus remote work, youre going to get plenty of exercise and blood flow regardless whether you want or not. Also you sharpen your people skills working around people - cant do that remote working. And thats just two examples. I wouldn't want to be in a close relationship with someone who only does remote work. Seems lazy, selfish, and parasocial. I'm sure you could do it temporarily, but doing that longterm cant possibly be good.

just remember everytime you donate at the cash register, everytime you use a reusable grocery bad - google paid apple 18 billion dollars for something so trivial when it couldve went to good causes around the world.
