Elon, the guy who wants to bore holes into the earth and create giant tunnels, when in reality the Earth already has tons of holes in it and we have no idea what terrible effect his holes would have. Elon, the guy who put a car in space, because Muh Wealth. And now he wants to plant a million trees and be environmental. Oh that Elon. He's a funny guy.

I always liked The Shining but I didn't love it until this year when I realized something about it. If you go back and watch The Shining, while Jack is driving on his way to the Hotel, notice that you never actually see inside the vehicle. People will say that's just coincidence, but I don't think so. I think it's deliberate. The reason is - the person in the vehicle driving to the hotel on the first day *becomes* Jack Torrence when he enters the hotel. Which makes the entire movie - including the ending - make sense. I'm sure I'm not the only person who's realized this. I just like pointing it out.

As someone who's been on the internet since 1994, this list kinda sux. At least 25 of these sites I've never been to - and out of those some of them are ultra leftist. I'm not saying you can't be leftist (do you, boo) - I'm saying most people who use the internet - or have ever used the internet - wouldn't find Salon or Gawker useful or important. Also Gawker ruins peoples lives by posting lewd photos without permission, which is why they don't exist anymore. So, I AIN'T calling that "important". That's just me tho. EDIT: If I'm being fair, Drudge Report shouldn't be on there either. For reasons I don't have to explain I hope.
