How does one get fire higher than they can reach? Blowtorch? I suspect that someone was lighting the paper near the ground because it was fun to watch.

Pro Tip: Use the garden hose to wash toilet paper off of trees. Might need to buy a high pressure nozzle, but it works very well.

Almost every grocery store in Southern California sells dry ice. Ask for it at checkout. As I remember, it is only a buck a pound, or so. Bring a cooler and some work gloves.
