Rocky Maivia is an interesting persona. Remember that Dwayne Johnson is wrestling royalty, being the grandson of Peter Maivia and son of Rocky Johnson, both well known and well respected professional wrestlers. He was supposed to be a face but was not well received. He changed to heel, joined the Nation of Domination, and became the second most famous wrestler in the Attitude Era (after Stone Cold Steve Austin).

One thing I miss about Rocky Maivia is his finishing move, the Maivia Hurricane. It's a kind of running wraparound DDT. It is way more flashy than his lame finishers "Rock Bottom" or "People's Elbow". It was definitely my favorite move for the WWE game in the PS1.

The bottom line: Rocky Maivia = Lame face, lame costume, awesome finisher.

Also, I still remember laughing when Hunter-Hearst Helmsley became "Triple H" and then "The Game". What a major re-write. It took a lot of kayfabe magic to pull it off.

Don't forget Shaquille O'Neal (7'1") who starred in Blue Chips, which is a decent film, and Kazaam, which is a pretty bad one; and more importantly Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who starred against Bruce Lee in The Game of Death, and in the classic comedy flick Airplane!

And in Space Jam there's 7'6" Shawn Bradley, 7'1" Valde Divac, and 7' Patrick Ewing.

I'm sure I can find more basketball players in small acting roles. These are the ones I remember from memory.

Contra is not that hard. Without using the Konami Code, I could go up to Level 4 or 5 before I lose my first three lives. I usually finish the game with only one or two continues.

He will always be Dracula to me. I've watched several Dracula films and his version of 1958 is still the best and most suspenseful. Farewell, Sir. You will be missed.

I found it even more odd that a scientific journal named Cell Biology would accept a paper on dinosaur paleontology, given that most dinosaur fossils are just rocky sediments. Surely it would not contain cells or even fossil outlines of cells. Most specialist journals do not even have editors competent to review papers outside their narrow field.

As a science-y type of person (engineer, alas), I would not have included any of the characters in The Big Bang Theory. None of them are "excellent" depiction of scientists. Just because they spout quantum physics doesn't make up for the really bad characterizations. Yes, even the "real-life" scientist Amy Fowler.

My favorite film/tv scientist will always be Dr Ellie Arroway. She's a sympathetic figure who struggles with finding ETI, while wading knee-deep in politics and religion-vs-science issues. OF course it's what you would expect from Carl Sagan.

Also, I'm surprised they did not include any of the scientists in two recent science-fiction box office hits: Gravity and Interstellar.

Erm, one of those photos is just a screen grab (#16). And the mixed race twins (#3) doesn't "prove" anything (I have read the story before and I believe it, but the "photo evidence" doesn't prove it).

I just had the Philippine version (hotdog, rice, fried egg, banana ketchup) for breakfast today. In fact, I probably have it for breakfast twice a week. Yum!
