No thanks. I think I'll continue doing what I do, your racist rants aside. Right, they are protecting the Sistine Chapel's high ceiling. I'm sure you've been there and see how damaging photography (no need for flash as it's well illuminated during the day) is to that place.
At least Asian tourists don't go to another continent to have sex with prepubescent Asian boys, unlike certain other racial groups I know.
I think they don't get to handle real guns in their society. As a gun owner, I would make sure to follow all of the cardinal rules of firearms safety lest I lose my license.
Maybe it's because it happened far away in Europe, and its victims were primarily people who have little to no presence in Eastern Asia. I can't say that I see many Jewish people here in Southeast Asia. Usually, most westerners who visit our parts want to sell us a fantastic story about Joseph Smith and these gold plates he found. We generally do not even hear or believe the so-called Jewish World Domination conspiracy theory (which, to me, seems to be an almost respectable view in parts of Europe, mostly in Britain).
I am ashamed to admit it, but even I am not too hung up about the shoah. I am but a product of my time. I have read the atrocities committed to a sizeable portion of humanity by the evil nazis, and it troubles me. But, you know, much like the Crusades, it happened a long, long time ago in a place far, far away. Heck, even the thousands of my countrymen who were butchered by the Americans to pacify our islands in the late 19th century, and thousands more killed by the Japanese during WW2 (including some of my maternal grand uncles), these are just factoids that I learn in history class.
But even I was taken aback when a "Good Burger" hamburger joint opened near my office about ten years ago. For some unfathomable reason, their flyers included a black and white picture of Hitler looking over approvingly to a Good Burger sandwich. Wow!
Yeah right. I'd rather use my camera thank you very much. They also told me not to take pictures inside the Sistine Chapel so that they can sell me some overpriced coffee table book at the gift shop. Yeah right. And I snapped away.
They asked me not to take flash photography of the Mona Lisa. Sounds fair enough, so I turned off flash but still took a picture.
Now when I went to the San Diego/Mexico border and took pictures at a prohibited zone, that's when I was accosted by a uniformed officer (this was less than a year after 9/11). As an Asian tourist, you do not want to antagonize border patrol, so I relented. =\
Visiting places outside my country can be prohibitively expensive, that is why I prefer to snap pictures as much as I can. I have not traveled outside Asia for almost ten years now. Costs have put vacation to Europe and America outside my meager means. So if I get the opportunity to go back to these wonderful places, you bet I won't be easily coaxed to forgo the camera.
Reese's do not hold their shape well especially in hot climate. Leave some Reese's cups on the table during summer and you'll end up with some deformed (but still very delicious) chocolate peanut.
Maybe if Marcia was still Lucas' wife during the prequels, she could've influenced George not to include Jar Jar Binks, trade negotiations, midi-chlorians, turn Yoda into a master swordsman, or go overboard with the CGI. In fact, she could've influenced George not to even make the prequels. It is not a major loss IMO.
Why Attack on Titan? I dunno, doesn't feel like something for new anime viewers. I'd go with an anime movie instead of a TV series. More self-contained. And what are we aiming for, enticing them to join the otaku subculture with a gateway drug/anime? Or to shock them with cartoon violence and sex? If the former, I'd recommend a Ghibli flick, perhaps Kiki's Delivery Service or Whisper of the Heart. If the latter, Yoshiaki Kawajiri flicks have ample sex and violence, like Ninja Scroll or Wicked City.
Hah, funny stuff. I think Hillary's card is a wee bit overpowered. As for Mike Huckabee, game on! I used to play M:TG competitively in the 90s and I got loads of Beta, Unli, and Revised Ed cards. Oh wait, I sold/gave/lost them all.... :-(
(BTW, I still can't believe they made Counter spells instants. They made more sense as interrupts.)
Sounds great. I work in a B2B company and have had dealings with the Dole farm in southern Philippines. Great place and huge fields of pineapples! I will wait for Puma to release those sneakers to the public.
OMG, I think I saw some of those automatic assault rifle bullets in my garage! I can't believe my wife is keeping a dangerous gun in the house and leaving bullets all over the place!
(I'm actually jealous, I only own one gun, a snubbie revolver.)
