Could all of this be because we're far more separated from death in our daily lives nows? My understanding is that 150-200 years ago, people saw people die. They had to clean and care for the bodies themselves. They would have natural decomposition. Now, the only people who really see that are our soldiers. Our lives are much easier now, all things considered.

So, if you aren't used to seeing death and disease, it would be more shocking, I'd wager.

So this family has a litter of puppies and we're all supposed to applaud? Frankly, it's disgusting. They're probably delusional and believe this mega-spawning is some sort of mission from god.

What a bunch of lunatics.

I hope I'm not the only person here who is stunned at how skinny these broads look. I mean, I'm used to seeing them in photos where they looks slim .. but seeing them in motion .. they look like skeletons!!

I'm suprised that no one realises that there are many people who using wheelchairs who CAN use their legs. They just might have difficulty standing for long periods, have dizzy spells etc.

I've just made a traditional sunday roast, complete with yorkshire pudding and bisto gravy ... right here in Kentucky. Also, I adore coronation chicken salad ... the best chicken salad!

As an American married to a Englishman, I've picked up quite a few Brit dishes. Some of the best, simple and hearty food.

I think it's great that Christians are so kind, tolerant and loving. I can really feel the spirit of Christ in this thread.

Perhaps the Christians in this thread should spend a little less time worrying about BCE/CE/BC/AD, and spend more time trying to be Christ-like. You know, kind, loving, compassionate etc.

This is generally why I don't care for religion .. no one seems to be able to live it.

It's articles like these that make me want to get a dog. I have two cats. You get love from cats, but its different than the love you get from dogs. Dogs are very special. Not to say that cats aren't special ... I'm gonna start rambling .. I'll stop myself.

I had the good fortune to have been born a girl ... had I been born a boy, my parents would have named me Israel Pierre. I think that is one of the worst combos of otherwise conventional first and middle names.
