I guess it depends on city by city if this will work. However, I find it demeaning to hand my eaten leftovers to the homeless. When I frequent Toronto I would see some folks asking for money and what not...but I will not hand them my change because I fear that I'm not helping them as they could easily use that for drugs or alcohol.
I will ask them if they have eaten lately and if not I'll go and buy them a burger with fries and a drink and give that to them. Some of them will thank me profusely while other grudgingly. Depends on the person I suppose. The olders folks are usually the happiest when I do this I guess because they're old hands and rarely get a second look by people walking by.
I agree the whole point was to hear the sounds not the voice over! Grrrr.
Conspiracy time! Maybe those scientists didn't want us to hear it...maybe they caught something that would make us all scared...like the Earth speaking in tongues.
Well, we usually hold large outdoor festivals with lots of music, games, and food. Then at our own backyard parties we gets lots of beer, food, and more beer! Some of us start off impromptu street hockey games...CAR! Then at night everyone participates in the fireworks display all over the cities. The cities display their own firework shows and folks at home will shoot some from parks and backyards. It's the one night when everyone is all at once looking at the sky. Lots of fun!
Hehehehe! I live in Mississauga, Ont., right by the City Hall and all I have to do is walk 5 steps and I can overlook the festivities. I'm waiting for 10pm when the fireworks will be going off then I'm spending all night out on the balcony going,"Oooooh! Ahhhh! Eeeeeh!?" ;)

I've heard that marathon runners bodies sort of shut down after a while and some folks just lose control of their bowels. True?
