That was my thought exactly. If it said "only child status expires: Feb 2013" then it would be fine. I am certainly nowhere near perfect when grammar is concerned, but it's important people. It's the difference between declaring your child is going to die versus you're expecting another child.
Maybe I'm being obtuse here, but to me, the message on that child's shirt says that he was going to die in february 2013. As a pregnancy announcement, that is more ominous than than awesome.
I'm not going to agree with many of their specific points, but it is a very boring film. I've watched it five or six times trying to figure out why it's considered a classic -- don't get it. I'm sincerely happy for those who enjoy it, but I can't imagine being on the edge of my seat through any part of it.
Ahh, the joys of timely, accurate, up-to-date reporting. Xu Xing described microraptor gui from fossil specimens back in 2003 (National Geographic article), but the LA Times article makes no mention of the fact that the four-winged body plan is not a new discovery. Sensationalism wins out over accuracy; "Archaeologists find other birds with four wings" just doesn't have the same impact.
