Rock Doves. Used to see some at my bird feeders, but haven't in a few years. We do get Mourning Doves.

Reminds me of going to foreign movies with English sub titles/captions. There would be a rather strange caption that was not funny at all, and some in the audience that understood the language would break out in laughter.

Reminds me of a pet fish that watched TV that was next to its aquarium.

I got a summons that I didn't pay a parking ticket. The ticket cited my license plate but the car was a Cadillac. I was driving a Mercury at the time. Went to court by myself and had it tossed out.

The beavers probably didn't follow EPA regulations.

Wasn't that all started by sisters who learned they could snap their toes. That made the"rapping sounds of the spirits" during the seances.

Reminding me of a class in college at the time girls began wearing short skirts. After the first class, the professor decided that if all the chairs were arranged in a circle, it would facilitate discussion. Before the next class began most of the young men, myself included, got to class early and took up seats on one half of the circle, forcing the girls to sit in the other half. Such dirty young men we were. Next class we got there early only to find the chairs back in their more familiar in line rows. True story.

Reminding me of a funny bit on the old radio comedy "Life of Riley". There was a character called Digger O'Dell, the friendly undertaker. When he would leave, he said, "...well, I better be shoveling off."

Apology to the producers of "Spinal Tap", but I wanted "HERE LIES BIG O, AND WHY NOT?" Mrs.O wanted just name and date, so that's what we have on our columbarium spot.

I loved them as a teen. Great place to get stuff for camping and such.
