Um, it looks like somebody's got the wrong image attached to this post. The kid with the Darth Vader mask doesn't look like he's wearing diamond-studded lederhosen. Or am I missing something obvious?
How about "A Mythbuster in a China Shop"? That'd be more appropriate after seeing the last 20 seconds of that clip, with the three of them knocking everything down.
But I guess that wasn't clumsiness, so it'd need a new definition too. Never mind.
Egads. This post should have been titled "Attention Seeking Behavior".
Far be it from me to judge what other people do, but it seems that the only one of the ten that has any sense is Julia Gnuse; she's at least got a reason behind getting tattooed.
One has to wonder whether the Leapord guy scampers about on all fours when nobody is around. I doubt it.
A telescope in Hawaii captured these images? Maybe it's too early in the morning, but I can't noodle out how that was accomplished. Earth is on a smaller orbit than Uranus, so how do you get a shot of the far side of it?
Just from the looks of him in the photo, I'd say he's in better shape than most 84 year olds. I know some 60 year olds that ought to have their licenses taken away (quite a few 30 somethings as well!), and also know a couple of 90 year olds that I'd trust driving all day. It all depends on the individual.
The Model A was a bit over-built by today's standards. But they do have their quirks that keep their owners on their toes. I had a neighbor who was a mechanic from way, way back, and one of the few who still had some of the specialized tools for working on the Model A. All kinds of them were going in & out of his garage, mostly for the things the owners couldn't do on their own. That's the thing with driving an old car; you learn pretty quickly what it takes to keep it running, and get to know the thing pretty well.
200 Census Data? Wow; didn't think records for North America went back that far. ;o)
Interesting to go to the Social Explorer map thingy and see how the colors for poverty coincide with the map showing Native American population concentrations. Especially in my home state of SD.
I have to chime in with L; why is this any kind of waste of natural resources? If it was a stack of firewood-size sticks, maybe I'd agree, but I'd bet the pieces are all less than a half-inch thick. I kinda like the look.
My basement family room is covered with 1" knotty pine carsiding that was installed in the '50's; I don't think anyone has ever considered something like that to be wasteful. If you do, you probably haven't thought much about what's involved in construction.

Into what?
I dunnoz.
